We create spaces for pakeke + rangatahi to show up, have a tutū and reconnect through mahi toi.
At Whare Hau Ako, we create spaces for pakeke (adults) and rangatahi (youth) to show up, have a tutū and reconnect through mahi toi.
Our wānanga bring people together to learn, share and create, using upcycled materials, and storytelling. A place to sit down, make something and connect. Creating a space for belonging and wellbeing.
We offer workshops, memberships (18+), te ao Māori programmes, workplace wellbeing, creative hui, venue hire and tailored experiences that bring people together through creativity, wellbeing and connection.
Whether you’re reconnecting with your creativity, discovering a new skill, or seeking community and belonging, Whare Hau Ako welcomes you.
Join us to nurture your hauora through creativity, culture, connection and shared learning.
