Nau Mai! Whare Hau Ako Opening Day

We are beyond excited to invite you to celebrate the opening of our new Whare Hau Ako home in the heart of Avondale.

This moment has been a long time coming.

For the past 18 months, Whare Hau Ako has been a mostly mobile kaupapa, creating spaces for connection, creativity and learning wherever we could. Over the last six months, we were fortunate to call a small studio on the Shore home, a space that helped us establish our footing, strengthen our kaupapa and grow our vision.

Now, it is time for a new chapter.

As we move into the new year following Matariki, this feels like the perfect time to plant our feet, set our intentions and begin a new season of growth.

Having a permanent home means we can dream bigger, create more boldly and continue building a space where our hāpori can gather, connect, learn and thrive…
